The overwhelming majority, 85% of players, hail from the Steam version of the game, with the Nintendo Switch being the least popular version of the game - not eliciting even a single response. Coupled with the nearly 31% of respondents who started playing in the last three years this suggests that the player base continues to grow although is growing less quickly than before. Over 31% of responses came from players who have been with the game for over seven years (from launch, essentially), slightly down on last time. Mini-censusĪs mentioned earlier, there were 1925 (+1016) responses received. Industrial Evolution by Avanya, Skyscrapers by Feindbold, and Sports Venues by BadPeanut also rank highly in the ratings, even if their raw popularity numbers are mixed. Outside of the overwhelming result for Train Stations, by Bad Peanut, which took the top spot in three categories, results for the CCPs are slightly more mixed. Things get a little more murky as you go down the list - but there strong results for Parklife, After Dark, and Airports, while Natural Disasters has once again had a disappointing run. Yet again, Mass Transit and Industries have the strongest showing across the various categories, but the most recent three DLCs are showing decent growth in the weighted popularity category.
